Since the last newsletter, I have received several Directory Update Sheets. I am currently working on organizing and compiling the information that I have and hope to put the new directory together very soon. However, I still have not heard from quite a few of the individuals and families I had hoped to include. If you have not submitted a Directory Update Sheet, please do so as soon as possible. They are available in the Chapel. You can also get a form by calling or emailing the office.
What is this new directory and what is its purpose? Several people have mentioned to me that our directory is very outdated. This is especially true with more and more people disconnecting their home phone lines and using cell phones to take their place. It has been suggested that I, as office administrator, prepare a revised version of the directory.
Even if you prefer any part of your information not be included in a membership directory, it is important that the church records are accurate. This is a great time to make sure. If, for some reason, you do not wish certain information be made available to other church members such as cell phones or email addresses, please specify which and let me know. I won’t include that part of your information in the directory. Thank you in advance for helping me with this project!!! Cathy
